About Us

Based in Monmouth County, NJ, Jumpstart to Fitness, LLC is dedicated to helping individuals of all ages and fitness levels look and feel their best, while developing a healthy lifestyle and preventing disease.

JoAnn Manzella, co-owner of Jumpstart to Fitness, LLC., graduated from Matawan Regional High School where her passion for fitness and athletics began. She played softball and basketball and was awarded MVP in basketball her senior year as well as “Best All Around” for softball that same year.

She attended and graduated Kean University with honors earning a BA in Education and Psychology.  After college, she quickly gravitated back to the fitness arena and earned certifications from ACSM, AFAA, AAAI/ISMA in Personal Training, Group Instruction and Aquatics. JoAnn continues to go to workshops and classes and has specialty certifications in Children, Senior Fitness, and Special Populations such as Diabetes, Obesity, Orthopedic Concerns

JoAnn is a firm believer that everyone needs a personal trainer or coach. To get to the next level we all deserve to have an individual plan and the accountability to another.

Antoinette DePierro, co-owner of Jumpstart to Fitness, LLC., grew up in Trenton and moved to Colts Neck to raise her family. Antoinette’s love for sports began at an early age and continues to grow as she trains individuals in the areas they most enjoy.

Antoinette has her Group Fitness Certification with AAAI/ISMA and continues to educate herself by taking educational classes and workshops on a regular basis. She believes that  that all individuals require different things to make them successful. She is committed to providing that one on one training even in group settings.

 Jumpstart to Fitness, LLC., is dedicated to motivating, assessing and implementing a reasonable plan of action so our clients may become successful in achieving their fitness goals. We determine your fitness level with approved exercise protocols, track your progress, and measure your results.  We do not let you flounder without any guidance or direction.
